ABOUT THE SHOW:
All grown-ups were children once, although few of us remember the wonderment of childhood. This astonishing and beautiful tale will remind you! A pilot crashes in the Sahara desert and while frantically trying to repair his wrecked plane he is interrupted by the apparition of a little boy who asks him to draw a sheep. As absurd as it seems, a thousand miles from all inhabited regions and in danger of death, he takes out a scrap of paper and a pen. And so begins their adventure. In association with Emmy Award®-winning puppet builders Monkey Boys (Avenue Q and Little Shop of Horrors), this new production uses life-sized puppets along with actors and magnificent sets to bring the story to life.

NEW HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS:
2:15 p.m. (between performances) for $5 per child, ages 5-10
Come early or stay late for an extended experience at the Victoria Theatre! Join us as we look at how to make puppets come to life on stage, putting the tools of an actor to use with props and puppets. Includes a tasty, kid-friendly snack, reader’s theatre and fun with puppetry. PNC Family Series Workshops are conducted by Victoria Theatre Association teaching artists and are not conducted by the show’s cast or crew.

Volunteers with PNC will be offering interactive storytime in the Victoria Theatre’s Kettering Reception Room at 3 p.m. prior to the 3:30 p.m. Saturday performance. Enjoy a great story related to the show you’re about to see!
