Volunteer Information
Each season, 1,000 volunteers from the Dayton area donate more than 60,000 hours of their time to our organization.
Volunteers primarily work as the ushers for our performance theatres at the Victoria Theatre, Schuster Center and The Loft Theatre. Ushers are responsible for taking tickets, seating patrons, enforcing house policies, assisting patrons and answering questions. They also assist with mailings, staff fair and festival booths, and other tasks.
Applications for volunteering are accepted anytime for the following season, with orientations taking place in August each year.
