ABOUT MID-DAY ARTS CAFÉ:
The November 17 Mid-Day Arts Cafe features the Dayton Ballet in the Schuster Center’s Wintergarden. Audience members will enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at a ballet dancer’s typical day of work, presented by Dayton Ballet Artistic Director Karen Russo Burke and select Dayton Ballet dancers. Audience members will also receive a warm welcome from Dayton Performing Arts Alliance (DPAA) President & CEO Paul Helfrich.
In its sixth year, the Mid-Day Arts Café showcases Dayton’s unique and vibrant arts community through live performances, interactive Q&As, and premieres of upcoming productions. You will have the opportunity to network with artists, meet local arts enthusiasts, learn new skills, and connect with the community. Every Mid-Day Arts Café begins with a box lunch provided by Citilites Restaurant & Bar at 11:30 a.m., and the presentation starts promptly at noon.
